Wear a Mask or Face a Fine – How You Can Help Small Businesses
It has recently been announced that from Friday July 24th 2020, it is compulsory to wear a face mask in public places in the UK, such as to the shops, or face a £100 fine. Many people have taken safety precautions before this announcement by already wearing face masks during the COVID-19 outbreak.
In fact, there has been a spike in smaller businesses which have sprouted in the wake of the pandemic by manufacturing designer face masks for the public. Most of which are sold via platforms such as Etsy. During these difficult times, many businesses have suffered, but on the flip side, it has created a path for these quick-thinking businesses to take advantage of this disaster by producing a product in desperate need.
There are plenty of different face masks to choose from when it comes to material, fit and designs. Some of which protect you more than others, which is the most important aspect of a face mask. But there are face masks that protect you and look cool as well.
So, in an effort to continue to support small businesses during these unprecedented times, we encourage you to post a link to your face mask selling online stores in the comments section of this blog.
Good luck but most of all, stay safe.
